Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders have a clear vision and ethos for the club that they share with staff. For example, they plan to hold regular staff meetings to talk to staff about strategies and ensure all children's needs are met during the sessions. Leaders are reflective about the strengths of the club and are actively involved in supporting staff to enthuse and excite children's interests. They describe how they enable staff to plan activities, such as drama sessions, to encourage children to develop their confidence and self-esteem.
p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders describe how they ensure all children are able to access the club, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. For example, they phone parents before children start to establish how they can support individual children to settle. Leaders describe training and support that staff can access, such as guidance to enable them to conduct vigilant risk assessments of the areas used by children. They regularly meet with staff to support staff wellbeing and monitor their work load. Staff have access to online materials to stimulate children's interests, such as music for dance sessions.

Facts and figures used on inspection
There were no early years children present and/or on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with leaders and an inspection of the premises, equipment, and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children present, inspectors only evaluate and grade leadership and governance as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess the impact on children of other evaluation areas. This data is from 23 January 2026
