Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory Framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/governent/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework-2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements we take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 October 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to supporting and understanding children's behaviour and supervision of staff. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of any person who cares for/is in regular contact with children on the premises.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 5 February 2026, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 3 March 2026, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider has improved their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures. They have completed training with all staff and have held discussions to monitor staff knowledge. They state that staff have been able to confidently discuss the correct procedure to follow should they be concerned about a child's safety or wellbeing, including if an allegation is made about a member of staff. Supervision has been strengthened to include records of actions agreed and accountability for managers and staff's actions. Furthermore, supervision processes incorporate regular opportunities to identify and support staff practice through coaching and mentoring. The provider has introduced detailed recording processes for use should physical intervention be used. These recording processes include detailing that information has been shared with parents.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.

p.2

Summary of outcome

The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
