Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome

On 22 February 2024, the provider notified us about matters relating to concerns about children's safety and welfare. On 27 March 2025, they also notified us about matters relating to children's health. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider to look after children or suitability of any person who cares for/is in regular contact with children on the premises.

Summary of outcome

On 9 December 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. During the visit, we found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. In relation to the new areas of concern, we have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. Actions needed by 19 January 2026:

Summary of outcome

On 19 January 2026, the provider responded to the actions set. On 3 February 2026, we conducted a regulatory telephone call. We found that the provider had strengthened procedures to ensure that children's individual dietary needs are met, with improved systems that support effective partnerships with parents. In addition, staff attended training to ensure they have a more robust understanding of food safety. Leaders and staff including the designated safeguarding leads, have refreshed their safeguarding training to ensure that all staff have an improved knowledge of child protection procedures so that concerns about a child's welfare is acted upon in a timely manner. Regular supervision meetings for cover staff have now been introduced and implemented, to ensure they always understand their responsibilities. Strategies for managing children's behaviour have been reviewed, and staff have received relevant training, to ensure children's individual needs are met. We are

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
