Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 3 July 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to children's safety and welfare; suitable people; safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment and other legal duties. On the same day, the provider notified us about matters relating to the same requirements. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider to look after children.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We suspended the provider's registration on 3 July 2025 because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 7 July 2025, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

On 18 July 2025, the provider appealed the decision to suspend registration to an independent external tribunal. The suspension remained in place while the Health, Education and Social Care First-tier Tribunal heard the appeal. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so. On 24 July 2025, the provider withdrew their appeal.
p.2
Summary of outcome
On 26 August 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met all of the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. We found that the provider had reviewed staffing arrangements and the safe deployment of staff, these new measures provided some reassurance that if the setting were to reopen children would be adequately supervised. This would be further monitored during a visit when children were present. Therefore, we are satisfied that this action was met.
p.2
Summary of outcome
The provider had improved some safety measures within the setting. However, risk assessment procedures continued to be ineffective. We observed safety risks both inside and in the garden. In addition, we had been advised that accident records had been improved, however, these were not available to review during the visit. Therefore, the outcome of the visit was that the provider had not met all of the safeguarding and welfare actions.
p.2
