Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Nevaeh Homes Ltd 1 Nevaeh Homes Ltd

p.1

Inspected under the social care common inspection framework

p.1

provider

This service is owned and managed by a private provider. The provider can accommodate approximately 23 children in shared accommodation.

p.1

provider

At the time of the monitoring visit, 8 individual children were being accommodated.

p.1

provider

The provider has been registered since 17 January 2024. The registered service manager has been in post since the service was registered.

p.1

provider

Since registration, a monitoring visit has been carried out in response to concerns raised with Ofsted in relation to one particular property. Ofsted raised a compliance notice and three requirements. The service was inspected in November 2025, and the compliance notice remained in force.

p.1

This monitoring visit

A monitoring visit was conducted on 18 September 2025 in response to concerns regarding a particular property and the high level of support one child was receiving. A compliance notice was issued following the visit under regulation 4 of The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.

p.1

This monitoring visit

A full inspection was then carried out on 12 November 2025 which found an inconsistent quality of service delivery adversely affecting some children’s experiences. The compliance notice in relation to the provider’s admissions process remained in force.

p.1

This monitoring visit

The purpose of this visit was to monitor the provider’s progress in meeting the steps identified in the notice. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Nevaeh Homes Ltd 2 The inspector spoke with the nominated individual and reviewed documentation. No children have been accommodated since the full inspection.

p.1

This monitoring visit

Leaders and managers have developed an action plan to improve their admissions practice. They have developed new processes to ensure that all necessary information is obtained prior to children moving into the service. They believe this will help them ensure that only children who are appropriate for supported accommodation will be accepted. The effectiveness of these changes could not be proven, as the service had not received any referrals for children in accordance with the regulations.

p.2

This monitoring visit

The provider has implemented a process to ensure that staff continuously review the suitability of a child’s placement in supported accommodation. As a result, leaders and managers now identify when a child’s needs increase to a level that the service can no longer support.

p.2

This monitoring visit

Some staff within the service do not maintain professional boundaries with children. For example, one member of staff purchased a gift for a child using their own money. Leaders and managers were not aware of this.

p.2

This monitoring visit

Following a case review, it was agreed that the compliance notice had been met. The requirements made at the previous monitoring visit were not considered during this visit. These have been restated. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Nevaeh Homes Ltd 3
