p.1
This monitoring visit
This home was judged inadequate at the last full inspection on 25 November 2025. Ofsted subsequently served a compliance notice in relation to the leadership and management of the home.
p.1
This monitoring visit
The purpose of this inspection was to monitor and establish the provider's progress in meeting the steps set out in the compliance notice.
p.1
This monitoring visit
Since the last inspection, no new children have been admitted into the home. No children have lived at the home since the last inspection.
p.1
This monitoring visit
The appointed responsible individual has, in partnership with other leaders, implemented or embedded systems that have been disseminated across the organisation to improve standards and address the shortfalls identified at the last inspection. Staff are now expected to read and understand children's care plans, risk assessments and behaviour management plans before supporting a child. The responsible individual now has an implemented system in place to monitor this. Although there are no staff working in the home, the systems in place that staff from this home are now using in other homes evidence a stronger approach. The home's information management system requires staff to acknowledge on the Inspection report for children's home - monitoring visit: 2842675 2 system that they have read the relevant documents. Staff supervisions also monitor compliance. These systems help to ensure that staff are more likely to understand

This monitoring visit
children's needs and offer individualised support strategies.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders ensure that staff complete the organisation's core training. Staff have completed additional, comprehensive face-to-face training in child sexual exploitation in addition to online training. This supports staff to enhance their understanding and enables them to identify and respond to children at high risk of sexual exploitation from the day a child moves in. This is particularly important as the home intends to offer a bespoke service to children at high risk of sexual exploitation as outlined in the home's statement of purpose.
p.2
This monitoring visit
There are currently no children living at the home, therefore, there have been no safeguarding incidents. Senior leaders have redeployed staff and the deputy manager to other homes in the organisation to further their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding responsibilities. The responsible individual concluded an investigation of a staff member and appropriately shared information with the local authority designated officer for oversight. The deputy manager is scheduled to attend training in advanced safeguarding and investigations.
p.2
This monitoring visit
At the last inspection, there were concerns of poor management oversight. Leaders have introduced and/ or embedded systems to track performance across all areas of the home. These include monitoring arrangements, such as debriefs following physical interventions and requesting return home interviews after missing-from- home incidents.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The home has sufficient staff to meet the needs of one child. The home currently has no registered manager. The home's statement of purpose has not been updated to reflect these changes.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders have met the requirements of the compliance notice under the leadership and management standard. This inspection did not review all requirements and recommendations made at the last inspection. Therefore, these will be restated and reviewed at the next inspection.
