Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 9 December 2025 September, the provider notified us about matters relating to safeguarding policies and procedures, concerns about children's safety and welfare, suitable people, and staff taking medication/other substances. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant incident.

Summary of outcome

On 9 January 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. Summary of outcome

On 9 February 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last regulatory event.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider had reviewed and revised their safeguarding policies and procedures, including whistleblowing. They had ensured these were available to inform staffs practice in the event of a child welfare concern, or a concern regarding a colleague. Those with lead responsibility for safeguarding had completed additional training to ensure their knowledge is sufficient and understand the requirements to renew this training as specified in the EYFS. In addition, leaders had taken steps to revise their recruitment and vetting procedures, including when seeking references. This ensures those who are employed to work directly with children, and their families are suitable to do so. Furthermore, leaders had initiated regular staff supervision arrangements to ensure staff are continually supported to understand their roles, develop their own personal effectiveness, and can be supported should any gaps in knowledge arise. Lastly, leaders had put effective

processes in place to ensure information and records are maintained and readily available. They demonstrate an increased understanding of the importance of maintaining effective oversight and governance, to ensure the requirement of registration are always met.

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration. We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
