Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 October 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to special educational needs, learning and development, key person and information and record keeping. On 14 November 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to safeguarding policies and procedures. This notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' to notify Ofsted of significant events.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 2 December 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider had provided additional training to leaders to support them to understand and to consistently follow the setting's safeguarding policies and procedures.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider was not meeting some of the other requirements. We issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n implement procedures to ensure that staff members who take medication, only work directly with children if medical advice confirms that the medication is unlikely to impair their ability to look after children

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure supervision arrangements for staff include discussions around sensitive issues, to support staff well-being and promote the interests of children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 27 January 2026, the provider responded to the actions raised. The provider has strengthened the procedures for when staff members take medication and have robust monitoring systems to ensure that staff remain suitable to care for children. Leaders have improved the supervision arrangements for staff. These include the opportunity to have discussions around sensitive issues, to support staff wellbeing and to promote the interests of children. New monitoring systems have been introduced by senior leaders to ensure that these strengthened systems are implemented consistently.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
