p.1
provider
The service manager and nominated individual are the same person. They registered with Ofsted on 19 April 2024.
p.1

p.1
provider
The inspector visited one premise. They spoke to the nominated individual/registered service manager and a member of staff and received feedback from social workers.
p.1
This monitoring visit
A full inspection was carried out in October 2025. That inspection identified serious and widespread weaknesses in relation to leadership and management and notification of serious incidents to Ofsted. Two compliance notices relating to this were issued.
p.1
This monitoring visit
Ofsted carried out a monitoring visit on 16 December 2025. The purpose of the visit was to monitor the registered person’s compliance with meeting the steps identified in the compliance notices. Improvements had been made to the referrals and admissions procedures and submission of serious incident notifications to Ofsted. Therefore, the compliance notices in relation to these were met. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Arch Homes and Support Ltd Since the full inspection, the provider has developed an action plan, setting out the measures intended to address the compliance notices. As part of this response, the provider has engaged a social care consultant to assist in developing policies and procedures.
p.1
This monitoring visit
The provider has taken sufficient action to meet the requirements set under regulation 4. They have reviewed and updated the statement of purpose. This now reflects the operation of the service in line with regulatory expectations for support accommodation. They clearly state the characteristics of children they accept and the process they carry out to determine whether referrals are appropriate.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The provider has developed a new matching assessment template. This outlines the steps they intend to take to ensure that they have sufficient and relevant information to make informed decisions about the suitability of children for supported accommodation before admission. The provider has applied this procedure in respect to new referrals. However, there have been no new admissions since inspection. As a result, their effectiveness remains untested.
p.2
This monitoring visit
During the visit, the provider was able to show other developments, including a newly designed risk assessment template providing clearer strategies for supporting each child to manage vulnerabilities and make progress. However, this is an ongoing development that has not yet been rolled out for all children. The provider intends to use this assessment at a 28-day review of the placement to further ensure that the placement is suitable and they can meet the needs of the child. Again, as there have been no new admissions to the service, this has been untested.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The provision has reduced the level of support for one of the two children who previously received high levels of assistance. They are now receiving support consistent with the expectations of supported accommodation. This reflects a positive step towards promoting their independence. The social worker also confirmed the progress this child is making. For the other child, high levels of support remain in place, and the provider has given notice to the placement. The provider has been working with the multi-agency network to promote safety for this child.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The provider has taken sufficient action to meet the requirements set under regulation 27. Since the full inspection, the provider has ensured that they have made notifications about any serious incidents to Ofsted. This promotes the regulator’s oversight. Several children’s records were sampled during the visit. No additional concerns were identified that required notification to Ofsted.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Senior members of staff have also facilitated training to help increase staff knowledge. This is to ensure that staff understand their roles and responsibilities in respect to recording and notifying a senior worker and the registered manager about incidents. There has also been a training session on personalised risk assessments. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Arch Homes and Support Ltd Feedback from a member of staff confirmed the positive changes the organisation has made for the benefit of children and valued the training that is being provided.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Overall, the progress the provider has made means the compliance notices have been lifted. Other requirements that were not monitored have been restated. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Arch Homes and Support Ltd
