Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Between 20 October 2025 and 17 November 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to qualifications, training, support and skills, safeguarding policies and procedures and staff: child ratios, concerns about children's safety and welfare.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 12 November 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to staff: child ratios, safeguarding policies and procedures, supervision of staff, key person, risk assessment and Information for parents and carers. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 19 January 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider was not meeting one requirement and had taken action to put this right. The provider has trained staff in child supervision and has introduced new systems to ensure that children are accounted for when taking them to school. Additionally, during the visit we found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage'. We suspended the provider's registration because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 22 January 2026, we served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. Actions needed by 26 February 2026:

p.1

Summary of outcome

• ensure that all areas of the premises are safe and suitable for childcare

p.1

Summary of outcome

• ensure that risk assessments are used effectively to identify and address hazards that pose a risk to children .

p.1

Summary of outcome

We will monitor the provider's response to ensure the actions are successfully completed. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
