Findings from the inspection
Since the full inspection, one child has moved out of the home and another child has moved in. Children experience well-planned transitions when moving in and out of the home.

Findings from the inspection
Children have developed trusting relationships with staff. The child said: ‘They [staff] are kind, fun and always nice to me.’ This demonstrates that children feel safe and supported.
p.2

Staff support children to manage their emotions and make positive choices. They use specialist therapeutic input to inform their approach to care. As a result, children enjoy calm, consistent support which contributes to their progress.

Findings from the inspection
When physical interventions are required, staff hold children safely and appropriately. Staff keep clear records, which now include all information required by regulation. Comprehensive management oversight of incidents provides helpful feedback to staff and protects children’s welfare.
p.2

The home environment has improved, with hazards removed and maintenance overseen effectively. The house was decorated for Christmas at the time of the inspection and feels homely and welcoming. The child was proud to show off their bedroom and toys, reflecting their sense of belonging.
