Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 26 February 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to Safeguarding policies and procedures. On 3 March 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit and found that the provider was meeting the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 March, we received further information from Local Authority Designated Officer that suggested the provider had failed to share all the information they had in relation to the initial concern. This raised concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to Safeguarding policies and procedures. We liaised with other professionals who are investigating the safeguarding concerns.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We suspended the provider's registration on 10 March 2025 because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 3 April 2025, we met with the nominated individual to discuss safeguarding arrangements at the setting. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 15 May 2025, we conducted a visit to monitor the setting's progress towards meeting the actions set in the welfare requirement notice. We also reviewed the provider's plan for improvement and met with the nominated individual. The provider required further time to fully meet the actions. Therefore, we extended the timescales and the provider was required to meet the actions by 2 June 2025.

p.2

Summary of outcome

Since the last visit, we continued liaising with other professionals and the provider. Following our enquiries, we are now taking steps to cancel the provider's registration. On 1 December 2025, the provider notified us of their wish to resign their registration. We made a decision to accept the request and consequently, we lifted the suspension to allow us to resign their registration and did not to proceed with cancellation. This is no no longer a registered childcare setting.
