Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS), which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 24 September 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to health, specifically food and drink and safer eating. On 6 October 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to staff: ratios. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of any person who cares for/is in regular contact with children on the premises.

Summary of outcome
On 2 December 2025, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. There have been failings in ensuring children's dietary requirements were adhered to and a child had been given food they were allergic to. The policy and procedure for ensuring this type of incident does not happen, was not followed. The provider has now reviewed this and staff practice and has made significant changes. A new procedure has been implemented. Further due diligence checks now take place by management and each child is assigned a dietary red stand, with their photo, which highlights their allergy.

Summary of outcome
With regards to the notification whereby a child was left unsupervised in the secure outdoor garden. This is a breach of EYFS requirements as it states children must always be within sight and/or hearing and supervised to ensure their safety. The provider has taken appropriate action by investigating the circumstances, reviewing staff practice and introducing a new system for when children transition from rooms to the outdoors.

Summary of outcome
