Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 5 October 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to whistleblowing. This notification was regarding another registration on the same site that shares the same leadership team. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 October 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. Although the breaches to the requirements relate to an incident at the other registration, the weaknesses are linked to the same leadership team which manages both settings, therefore the breaches to the requirements are across both registrations. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n implement effective procedures to monitor and supervise staff and provide appropriate support and coaching to ensure they fulfil their roles and responsibilities.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We received further information from other professionals on 10 October 2025, and we suspended the provider's registration on 13 October 2025 because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 23 October 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions with the end date of 15 October 2025. We found that the provider has implemented procedures to oversee safeguarding practice in the nursery. They have introduced new methods to monitor concerns and the action taken by leaders when concerns are raised. Staff have had additional safeguarding training and have been reminded of the procedures to follow if they have any concerns.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 24 October 2025, we lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to deal with the matter that led to the suspension. We are satisfied that the identified risk of harm to children has been removed.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We carried out an inspection on 25 November 2025 where we checked whether the provider was meeting the action relating to supervision of staff. We found the provider is now complying with all requirements. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
