Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 15 September 2025, we received concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 29 September 2025, we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting requirement 3.44 with regard to the ratio of suitably qualified staff working in the nursery and had taken action to put this right. For example, they have employed more staff who hold relevant qualifications, and several staff are working toward attaining relevant qualifications. We also found the provider was not meeting the requirements in relation to 3.79 Safety of the premises, 3.71 Food and drink, 3.86 Toilets and intimate hygiene, 3.42 Staff: child ratios, and 3.34 Supervision of staff. Following this visit, we issued actions for the

Summary of outcome

On 4 November 2025, we carried out a further unannounced regulatory visit. We found the provider had made significant improvements in the cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery. Staff have a better understanding of their responsibilities in supporting children in care routines. Leaders are implementing supervision and wellbeing meetings for staff and are providing additional training and coaching to drive forward improvements.

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
