p.1
This provision does not meet requirements
n The childminder has failed to notify Ofsted of a change to the persons living at the premises. She has allowed an adult to move into the home without notifying Ofsted. In spite of being provided with the information on how to notify, she has failed to take action. This lack of action has prevented Ofsted being able to obtain the required suitability checks for unknown adults living on the premises where childminding is provided. Notifying Ofsted is a legal requirement of the childminder's registration. This repeated failure to notify Ofsted places children at risk of harm. n The childminder has failed to ensure that her premises are safe, suitable and fit for purpose. The standard of her premises has deteriorated since her previous inspection. The organisation of her premises is poor. Several hazards pose a risk to children's safety and welfare. These include dog faeces in the garden easily accessible to children, resources not suitable for children and medicines being in

reach of children. This compromises the safety of children. n The childminder does not demonstrate sufficient understanding of identifying and assessing the risks to children. She does not carry out thorough risk assessments of her premises. For example, she has allowed household items and resources to pile up in the playroom where children play. Blind cords hang loose and the exit to the garden is compromised by a build-up of household furniture. She does not demonstrate a sufficient understanding of the risks posed to children. n The childminder has not met one of the actions set at her previous inspection. She has not maintained a record of children's attendance. Furthermore, the childminder demonstrates a poor attitude towards keeping such records. There is a pattern of a repeated breach to the requirements for keeping records of children's attendance. As a result, the safety of children is not assured.

This provision does not meet requirements
n The childminder discusses how she has recently engaged with the local authority early years team since the previous inspection. She recognises that she is in need of help to improve the quality of her provision. n The childminder shows that she understands the importance of partnerships with parents. She shares information with parents and shares photos by electronic means with parents. The childminder discusses how she gains information from parents about children's starting points and explains how she works in partnership with them if children are not making expected progress.
p.2
This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
