This provision meets requirements
Children are very happy in the club and are keen to start playing with their friends as soon as they arrive. They are respectful of one another and also to the leaders and staff. For example, they listen to staff and engage in conversation about their day and older siblings that used to attend. Staff provide a healthy snack for children and sit with them while eating to ensure they are safe. Children have access to lots of physical activities, both inside and outside. For example, children laugh and giggle, playing with a large piece of tarpaulin to make a den to take shelter from the strong wind.

need to do better?
n Leaders have a clear vision for the club. They want all children to be safe, happy and to be able to enjoy a range of play experiences. They listen to both children and parents to help make improvements to the club. For example, a request for additional bikes has been made, which they are in the process of getting. n Leaders and staff know the children and families well. They send regular newsletters to parents and share feedback when handing over their child at the end of the session. Parents value this feedback and what the club provides for their child. They state their children 'love coming to the club'. n All staff are kind and nurturing to the children. They offer support when needed and allow children to take risks, encouraging them, but staying nearby if they are needed. Staff keep children safe. For example, they use walkie-talkies when children are moving between the inside and outside. Children know they must

inform a member of staff when using the bathroom and if they want additional resources out of the cupboard. n There are regular learning opportunities that take place throughout the club. Staff skilfully support younger children to consider why a conker has a spikey shell. Older children also support younger children when they show them what to do with their plate when they have finished snack. n Leaders and staff allow children plenty of time so they can really get absorbed in their own play and use their imagination. For example, when children make a poster about a concert, others support them to develop costumes, tickets, a
