This provision meets requirements

n The childminder aims to provide a nurturing and caring environment for children who attend this setting. There is a strong emphasis on physical activity that supports development across all seven areas of learning. For example, walks to and from school, trips to the park and local playgroups for younger children. The routine is structured and well thought out with activities that enable children to develop curiosity of the world around them and build on their social skills. n The childminder fosters a love for reading books and visits the local library daily. Children get to experience reading buddies provided and participate in other activities such as play dough making. Along with reading, the childminder aims to provide other opportunities for all children to enhance their communication and language skills. For example, rhyme time at the playgroup, singing, dancing at home and meaningful conversations.

The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
