Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Majestic Healthcare Limited Majestic Healthcare Limited Registered provider: Majestic Healthcare Ltd
p.1
Inspected under the social care common inspection framework
p.1
provider
A private provider operates this supported accommodation service. The provider can accommodate up to seven children between three properties that are not limited to accommodating looked-after children or care leavers. The provider operates in the West Midlands.
p.1
provider
At the time of the inspection, the service provided supported accommodation for one child.
p.1
provider
The provider registered in May 2024. The same individual performs the duties of both the registered service manager and the nominated individual. They have been in post since registration.
p.1
This monitoring visit
Following the last monitoring visit on 4 June 2025, Ofsted issued two compliance notices. These were under regulation 4, leadership and management, and regulation 17, fitness of staff. The purpose of this visit was to assess the actions taken by the provider to address these concerns.
p.1
This monitoring visit
The provider has strengthened their referral and admission process. They now ensure that they have the relevant information to make an informed decision about the suitability of children for supported accommodation before the child moves into their premises. This improved process helps to ensure the appropriateness of children for supported accommodation. Additional information and details are sought. However, increased professional curiosity could strengthen this process further. The provider has taken sufficient action to meet this part of the compliance notice. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Majestic Healthcare Limited The provider has updated their statement of purpose. However, this document does not reflect the operation of the service. The document continues to indicate that the provider may consider children outside the scope of supported accommodation and
p.1
This monitoring visit
is misleading about the registration of the provider and support offered to children. This part of the compliance notice is repeated to ensure that the document is not misleading to those considering commissioning a service.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The provider has more to do to equip staff with the skills they need to provide effective support to children. While the provider has taken action to source some additional training courses for staff, in doing so they have overlooked other matters. Managers had not identified that some staff have failed to complete their core training modules, such as first aid and food hygiene. This is despite these staff lone working. Managers also need to continue to review children’s risks, to ensure that relevant needs-led training is made available to staff. This part of the compliance notice is repeated to ensure that staff have the required skills to provide meaningful support to children.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The provider has made improvements to staff recruitment. Those responsible for recruitment have now completed safer recruitment training. This has increased their awareness of potential indicators of concern regarding an individual’s integrity. Appropriate references are now being sought and verified, as well as proof of qualification being obtained. Amendments have been made to staff induction and probation processes to ensure that staff have had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills prior to being in permanent employment. The compliance notice relating to the fitness of staff is assessed to have been met.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Two requirements made at the last monitoring visit are repeated. While changes have been made to the register of children being accommodated, essential information remains missing. In addition, it has not been possible to assess the provider’s actions in relation to the notification of serious incidents, as there have been none since the last monitoring visit.
p.2
This monitoring visit
One further requirement is made on this occasion. This followed a visit to one of the provider’s premises. While, generally, the premises were a welcoming environment, concerns were evident in relation to door locks. Locks that need a key were evident on both internal doors to shared areas and external doors. This may prevent children from evacuating the property safely in the event of a fire.
