Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 15, 20 and 22 January 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to: staff:child ratios; suitable people; qualifications, training, support and skills; and safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 27 January 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

On 10 February 2025, we received further concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to suitable people; safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment; health: and other legal duties.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 30 April 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider had made improvements to previous actions set. Nursery rooms are regularly checked by management to ensure that they are securely maintained to ensure children's safety. They had tightened their induction procedures and now ensure Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) checks are fully completed prior to staff starting work with children. Staff are made aware that they cannot complete intimate care routines or be left unsupervised with children until all their suitability checks have been completed. There is a name deputy who is capable to take charge in the absence of the manager.

p.1

Summary of outcome

During this visit, we found the provider was not meeting other requirements and had taken action to put this right. They are currently working with Doncaster Environmental Health team to make necessary improvements to meet Food Safety and Hygiene Standards and Health and Safety requirements. This includes plans to enclose the children's toilets and fit a ventilation system. They also plan to fit a full kitchen to comply with requirements for the safe preparation of food. Interim plans to reduce health and safety risks to children are in place, until the planned work can be completed.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 26 June 2025, the provider confirmed all work had been completed to ensure they are compliant with Food Safety and Hygiene Standards and Health and Safety requirements.
