Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 27 June 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to security of the premises and the supervision of children, whereby a child was able to leave the premises unsupervised. We also received a notification from the provider about the same matter on the same day. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 1 July 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider has improved security of the premises and the deployment of herself and assistants to make sure children are appropriately supervised and cannot leave the premises without an adult being aware. However, we found that the provider did not inform safeguarding partners of the incident. We have issued actions for the provider to take.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure that children are adequately supervised and remain within sight and hearing at all times

p.1

Summary of outcome

n develop a greater understanding of safeguarding procedures, the role of the local authority designated officer and the referral process when a child is placed at risk of harm, such as when a child goes missing.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 17 July 2025, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had improved their understanding of ensuring that children are within sight and hearing at all times. They have reviewed and improved their understanding of safeguarding procedures, including the role of the local authority designated officer and the procedures to follow in the event of a child going missing. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
