Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 14 May 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to supporting and understanding children's behaviour. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 09 July 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. For example, the provider has trained staff on how to better support children in managing their own feelings and emotions. As a result, children now understand what is expected of them and they behave well. Additionally, we also found that the provider was not meeting one other requirement. We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents and carers further information about this.

Summary of outcome

ensure that risk assessments are used effectively to identify and address hazards that pose a risk to children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 14 July 2025, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider has strengthened the arrangements for risk assessments. For example, daily risk assessments have been updated for each room and additional safety checks are completed by the site manager. Staff have attended risk assessment training and have updated their knowledge of how to identify and remove hazards. We are satisfied that the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
