p.1

provider

This service is owned and operated by a private provider. It can accommodate up to eight children living in four shared premises, one of which is limited to looked-after children and care leavers. It is not known if children were being supported at the time of the visit.

p.1

provider

There has been no registered service manager since 29 May 2025.

p.1

This monitoring visit

On 8 April 2025, Ofsted carried out a monitoring visit in response to concerns raised by a child about staff’s ability to meet their needs and keep them safe. This information indicated that the provider was accommodating a child who should not be living in supported accommodation. Following the visit, a notice restricting accommodation to prevent new admissions and two compliance notices were issued.

p.1

This monitoring visit

On 20 May 2025, Ofsted carried out a further monitoring visit to monitor compliance with the notice restricting accommodation and measure progress in relation to the two compliance notices. No children have been admitted since the last visit, and the child who was being accommodated has moved on to a more suitable placement.

p.1

This monitoring visit

Leaders and managers developed an action plan that focused on the shortfalls identified in the compliance notices. However, they set the deadline for implementing this plan to be later than the deadline specified in the compliance notices. Failure to fully implement the action plan meant that insufficient progress had been made in Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: SwiftCF Supported Accommodation Service relation to meeting the notices. Consequently, the compliance notices were reissued, and the notice restricting accommodation remained in effect.

p.1

This monitoring visit

The registered service manager contacted Ofsted to cancel their registration and left the service on 29 May 2025. The registered provider has not advised Ofsted of any interim management arrangements.

p.2

This monitoring visit

On 30 June 2025, Ofsted carried out a further monitoring visit to monitor compliance with the notice restricting accommodation and measure progress in relation to the two compliance notices. Despite attempts made, Ofsted was unable to enter and inspect premises, review documentation or speak to those responsible for the operation of the service. Therefore, Ofsted was unable to review progress or any of the notices.
