For example, she discusses how she introduces ambitious vocabulary with children as part of their play. She explains how she promotes a love of books through children reading a wide variety of texts, including those that foster an awareness of diversity and other cultures. n The childminder discusses the support she provides for children with additional needs. equipment in the park. n The childminder understands the need to find out about the other settings children attend. She discusses how she provides links to the activities children take part in at these settings. However, she does not contact them to discuss individual children's progress to help ensure a consistent approach to supporting the next steps in their development. n The childminder undertakes regular professional development to ensure her knowledge and skills are up to date. For instance, she has recently undertaken in-depth training in children's development and growth to further understand how children's brains develop to help them make secure attachments. The childminder reflects on the impact this has had on her practice, including through making her more aware of how children develop positive relationships with others.

This provision meets requirements

3 July 2025 There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
