Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 2 June 2025 and 19 June 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to safeguarding policies and procedures, concerns about children's safety and welfare, suitable people, training and skills, supporting and understanding children's behaviour, safety of premises, and risk assessment. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 1 July 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit, and on 3 July 2025 we undertook a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure all staff have a sound understanding of the setting safeguarding policy and procedures, in particular staff have a robust awareness of the action to take in the event of a concern or allegation being made against a member of staff

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure all staff understand and adhere to supporting and managing children's behaviour in an acceptable manner, in particular when using any physical intervention.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 15 July 2025, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider has delivered training about safeguarding policy and procedures to all staff. This placed a focus on the referral procedures to follow if there are concerns about a child or if an allegation is being made against themselves or a member of staff. The provider has taken additional steps to provide training to staff to have an appropriate understanding of what is acceptable physical intervention and identifying when this can be used. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
