A follow up monitoring visit was carried out on 16 April 2025. Ofsted found that the provider had made some progress but had not taken sufficient action to address all the identified shortfalls. This monitoring visit
Leaders and managers have made improvements to children’s support plans. These documents now include children’s known needs and risks, and detail a safety plan, risk assessment and behaviour management plan. This means that staff have a greater understanding of children’s changing needs. Staff have consulted with children about their support needs and their views are in their plans.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders and managers have consulted with external services to address children’s changing needs and explored how they can further support children. They are accessing specialised training courses to address this and have arranged for other relevant professionals to attend monthly team meetings to share essential information about children’s needs, circumstances and progress. This means that staff can gain the knowledge and skills that they need to support children effectively.
p.2
This monitoring visit
When children’s risks increase, for example, when they are missing, staff now ensure that they work in partnership with other agencies. This approach better helps to protect children from harm and to ensure their safe return.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders and managers now ensure that their online system is sufficient to provide improved oversight of children’s progress and the operation of the service. Staff can access this system and said that these improvements mean that they are now more familiar with children’s support needs and goals.
p.2

As a result of these improvements, the compliance notices are met and the notice restricting accommodation will not be reissued. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider – monitoring visit: Miracle Social Care Ltd 3
