This supported accommodation service is operated by a private provider. The provider can accommodate up to six children in one group-living home that is limited to accommodating looked-after children or care leavers. The provider operates in the Greater Manchester area.

The service was registered in November 2023. Since registration, there have been changes to the senior leadership team, with the registered service manager withdrawing from the position in early March 2025. However, at the time of this monitoring visit, they had been re-instated to their previous role. They have yet to be registered with Ofsted.

This visit was arranged to monitor the provider’s compliance with a notice to suspend their registration, which was issued on 4 March 2025.

All children living at the provision were moved swiftly by the placing local authority following the suspension of the service. The provider has complied with the suspension notice and no children have lived at the property since it was issued.

The staff team remains in place, although some staff are working temporarily in other settings. The provider recently held an on-site staff meeting, to help boost staff morale and to ensure that staff were up to date with changes made to policies and procedures. The manager has also ensured that staff training has been kept updated.
