Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 16 April 2025, we started an inspection. On 14 May 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment and staff:child ratios. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant incident. Following this notification, we decided to gather additional inspection evidence in line with Ofsted inspections and visits: Deferring, pausing and gathering additional evidence policy.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 15 May 2025 we suspended the providers registration because we believed children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 21 May 2025, an inspector returned to gather additional inspection evidence. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. The report and inspection outcome will be published in due course.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Following the visit on 21 May 2025, we served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 2 June 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit to check compliance with the welfare requirements notice. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of the local safeguarding partnership procedures. Staff have completed training and improved their knowledge and understanding of how to carry out care and daily routines in a safe way, including promoting children's health. The provider has reviewed and updated their risk assessments and implemented changes to their procedures regarding the arrival and departure of children to the nursery. Staff have a better understanding of how to deploy themselves effectively to ensure adequate supervision of children at all times. They have an improved understanding of the procedures to record and report accidents and share information with parents. They have taken action to ensure the safety and security of the premises.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 2 June 2025, we lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to deal with the matter that led to the suspension. We are satisfied that the identified risk of harm to children has been removed.

p.2

Summary of outcome

The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
