Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 22 April 2025, the provider notified us about matters relating to 3.4 and 3.7 safeguarding policies and procedures, 3.8 concerns about children's safety and welfare, 3.57 supporting and understanding children's behaviour and 3.80 information about the child. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 23 April 2025, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n develop a secure knowledge of safeguarding to understand how to identify and respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately, with particular regard to referring concerns about a child and dealing with allegations

p.1

Summary of outcome

n obtain information from parents about children prior to their starting, to meet their individual needs and ensure appropriate level of care is given and use this information to promote their welfare, learning and development.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We will monitor the provider's response to ensure the actions are successfully completed. The provider is still registered with Ofsted. We suspended the provider's registration on 24 April 2025 because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 2 May 2025, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding. This includes how to identify and respond to concerns she may have about a child in her care and in respect of allegations. We found that the provider has also developed systems for gathering thorough and detailed information about children before they start. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 21 May 2025, we lifted the suspension because we are satisfied that the identified risk of harm to children has been removed. The provider is still registered with Ofsted

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
