Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 April 2025 the provider notified us about matters relating to health and safeguarding policies and procedures. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 6 May 2025 we also received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to the safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment, and staff:child ratios.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 May 2025 we carried out a regulatory visit. In relation to the notification, we found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider had thoroughly investigated the significant event. They have provided further training for staff in relation to the action that they should take in the event of a medical emergency. All staff have been reminded of the nursery's health policies and their responsibilities to ensure that the appropriate medical attention is more quickly sought in such an event. The provider is following their own internal processes in relation to staff who have not complied with the setting's own policies and procedures in relation to health. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
In relation to the concerns raised, we found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome
On 20 May 2025 we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at the previous visit. We found that the provider has ensured that all areas of the nursery, including kitchen areas have been maintained to remain suitably clean, tidy and hygienic. They have ensured that all staff have received targeted supervisions, and robust rotas and cleaning routines are in place, to support staff to carry out their roles and responsibilities in contributing to the ongoing cleanliness and hygiene of the nursery. The provider has ensured that staff have received further training and guidance on completing risk assessments and identifying areas or hazards that require further attention. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
