The provision is outstanding
Children are very happy and thrive at this inspirational setting. The childminder creates a very dynamic and stimulating environment and children are eager to embark on a day filled with exciting activities. She carefully considers children's interests and abilities when planning meaningful learning experiences. For example, when younger children show a particular interest in balls, the nurturing childminder guides them through learning to throw, catch and roll the ball. She is gentle and patient and models the actions effectively, using very clear and precise language. She talks to the children about what they are doing to also support their communication and language. As a result, younger children become very engrossed in this activity and master the actions to build on their gross motor skills and hand- to-eye coordination.

The childminder also completes daily diaries for the parents and actively involves them in their children's learning. This helps provide continuity of care and education. n The childminder offers children the opportunity to make their own choices of activities and resources to explore. The childminder offers clear explanations of the new words, and children embed these successfully and use them in different contexts. n Children develop a passion for books and literature from a very young age. They have a very clear understanding of what an author is and confidently name books written by their favourite one. As children listen to their favourite story about a wise man, the childminder creates a scenery with the characters from

They value the ambitious and nurturing childminder and recognise her relentless efforts to provide their children with the best start to early education.
