p.1
This monitoring visit
Leaders and managers take appropriate action when managing allegations against staff. They follow their safeguarding policy, which includes referring the allegation to the local authority designated officer. This means that leaders and managers listen to children’s concerns and act quickly to help keep them safe. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Calmliving Care Ltd 2 When incidents occur, staff complete detailed records that include debriefs with children. However, leaders and managers do not consistently report all serious incidents to Ofsted or within the required timescales. This requirement remains in place and is restated.

This monitoring visit
One property has not received adequate maintenance since the last monitoring visit. As a result, children have not had access to suitable, working shower facilities. The provider has identified this issue as an area for improvement.

This monitoring visit
Staff receive training that is relevant to their role. One member of staff said that the management team is supportive and cares about their welfare. Staff have a good understanding of the children living in the accommodation, including their needs. Staff said that they feel supported in their role and receive regular reflective supervision.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders and managers assess children’s vulnerabilities at the point of referral. Local authorities provide staff with detailed information, which they use to form a robust risk-management and support plan. Staff have access to these plans and review them every three months. This helps staff to monitor children’s progress and support them with managing their vulnerabilities. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: Calmliving Care Ltd 3
