n Since the last inspection, leaders have improved their policies and procedures when staff collect children from local schools using the mini buses. Leaders have shared their procedures and trained staff to ensure that they have a secure understanding of the routines. This helps keep children safe on their journeys between their school and the club. n Staff support children to learn about a healthy lifestyle. They greet the club's chef with great enthusiasm, when she brings in their nutritious home-cooked meals. Children thoroughly enjoy the foods on offer, and often put their hands up for seconds. However, on occasions, staff do not take children to wash their hands before eating tea. This does not help them to learn good hygiene routines. n Children behave well and play happily alongside their friends. Staff provide a mixture of adult-led activities and free-play opportunities. This encourages children to participate and try new ideas, as well as creating their own play
