aid, to help keep children safe. However, her approach to professional development is not yet sharply focused. At times, this limits the childminder's ability to raise the quality of education to the highest levels. n The childminder evaluates the quality of the provision rigorously, which has a positive effect on children. For instance, after a recent evaluation, she implemented strategies to ensure that parents are fully informed about their children's learning and care needs. Feedback from parents indicates they have noticed an improvement in communication, which they appreciate and value. n The childminder is aware of her responsibility to safeguard children. She knows to inform Ofsted of any necessary changes to her circumstances to ensure children's safety.
