Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 26 November 2024, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 10 December 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. We found that the provider is now keeping an accurate record of children's attendance. She has removed and cleared household items to ensure that her premises are fit for purpose and that she provides enough space for children to sit or play.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider now ensures that fire exits are clear and accessible. She has ensured that kitchen surfaces are clear of clutter and are clean and suitable for food preparation. The provider is implementing the use of government food hygiene guidance to improve her knowledge and plans to complete a further online food hygiene course to ensure ongoing good practice when handling food. The provider has a suitable menu in place for children's snacks and meals, with a range of food groups available to promote a healthy and nutritious diet. She ensures that food is stored safely.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider and her assistants have completed further safeguarding training to increase their knowledge of the 'Prevent' duty and other safeguarding issues, such as county lines. She continues to support her assistants in completing training and professional development activities to ensure that they have the required skills and knowledge for their role. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
