Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 26 November 2024, the provider notified us about Information and record keeping. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of any person who cares for children on the premises. On 11 February 2025, we also received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to Concerns about children's safety and welfare, Safeguarding policies and procedures, Suitable people and Supporting and understanding children's behaviour.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 26 February 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider has in place, and is implementing, a safeguarding policy which is in line with the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage'. We found that there is a designated lead for safeguarding, that staff had a secure knowledge of responding to concerns about children's safety and there are procedures in place to support, understand and manage children's behaviour. We found appropriate checks in place to ensure staff's suitability and that staff receive appropriate induction. However, we also found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken some action to put this right. We found that leaders have refreshed staff's knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, including ensuring staff are aware of how to manage and respond to concerns about the behaviour of colleagues in a timely manner.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We have also issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
