Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 29 January 2025, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to suitable people, safeguarding policies and procedures and information and record keeping.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 February 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event, which is a requirement of their registration.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We also found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
• ensure at least one person who has a current paediatric first aid (PFA) certificate is available at all times when children are present
p.1
Summary of outcome
• ensure children are only left in the sole care of childminders' assistants for up to two hours in a single day.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 11 February 2025, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of how long assistants can be left in sole charge of children. The provider also confirmed that the assistant, who has a current paediatric first aid certificate, would always be available when children were present until she had updated her first aid certificate. The provider then confirmed she had completed a current paediatric first aid certificate on 24 February 2025.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
