Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 January 2025, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.

Summary of outcome
On 11 February 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the childminder had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that the childminder has taken steps to meet the safeguarding and welfare requirements. For example, she has re-positioned some furniture and adapted her practice to ensure that children are within her sight and/or hearing at all times. The childminder now makes sure that she is always in the same room as children to ensure they are adequately supervised. She has attended training to improve her understanding of safer eating and the importance of supervising children when eating. The childminder has reviewed her practice to make sure that she meets the needs of all children if she decides to make an exception to the usual ratio rules and has informed parents of this. Additionally, cleaning routines and procedures have been strengthened. This includes to ensure that once children clean their hands, they do not touch dirty items, such as floor brushes and dustpans, before eating. Furthermore, the childminder has attended behaviour refresher training, listened to experts
