Summary of outcome

If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 7 November 2024, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements. The inspection outcome and report will be published in due course.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 December 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. We found the provider had met some of the safeguarding and welfare actions but not others. We found that the provider has now taken action to ensure that at least one person who holds a current and relevant paediatric first-aid certificate and is on site and available at all times when children are present, and an effective key person system has been implemented. We also found that staff receive safeguarding training so that they understand how to recognise the possible signs of abuse and know how to respond to any child protection concerns they may have about a child in their care. In addition, we found that arrangements have been made to ensure that children with special educational needs/and or disabilities are provided with tailored care that supports their emotional well-

being, learning and development. However, we found that although some action had been taken, induction procedures, providing ongoing support, training and supervision for all staff to ensure that they have appropriate knowledge, skills and understanding to fulfil their roles and responsibilities are not yet secure.

p.1

Summary of outcome

This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. In relation to these areas of concern, we have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 30 January 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. We found the provider had taken action to review the settings policies and procedures and improve induction procedures. The arrangements for staff supervision have been strengthened to provide ongoing support to ensure that they have appropriate knowledge, skills and understanding to fulfil their roles and responsibilities. We also found that the provider and her staff team have reflected on how they manage children's behaviour and introduced better ways to support the children in regulating their own behaviour. Staff are supporting one another with managing the children's behaviour and accessing training. Staff deployment and organisation of the children at group times has been improved.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
