The provision is good
Children show they are happy and content in this warm and inviting nursery. They confidently separate from their parents on arrival and seamlessly transition into group activities with their peers. For instance, they delight in singing and dancing, and develop new skills as they learn to move their bodies in different ways.
p.2
The provision is good
Leaders and staff pride themselves on the effective settling-in process that supports all children to build a sense of belonging. They plan a well-structured curriculum that helps children to develop a range of skills and experiences over time. Children are confident, resilient and curious learners. They are imaginative and pretend to cook food for their friends and staff. They measure, group items and use numbers in their play. Staff foster opportunities such as these to help children build on their awareness of mathematical language.
p.2
The provision is good
Staff teach children how to manage simple risks in their play. For instance, they give children gentle encouragement and support to climb and jump off apparatus. Staff consistently praise children for making good choices, such as sharing resources and helping to tidy away toys. This constant and encouraging feedback supports children in understanding and meeting behavioural expectations. Children behave well. They collaborate effectively as they engage in their activities, such as working together to build towers in diverse ways.

need to do better?
n Leaders show a strong commitment to the professional growth and well-being of staff. Supervision meetings and tailored training ensures that all staff build on their skills and knowledge to help benefit children. Communication between leaders and staff is highly effective. There is a positive atmosphere that flows throughout the nursery. This has a positive impact on children's emotional well- being. n Staff use information gathered from parents, alongside their own assessments of children's ongoing development, to find out what children know and can do. They use this information to help build on children's knowledge and skills. However, on occasion, staff place a stronger focus on the learning of older children. Therefore, at times, younger children are not challenged to learn at the same level as their older peers. n Leaders have designed a clear curriculum that helps children to develop essential

When children delight in finding a spider's web, staff enhance this further with books and props to build on their understanding of nature further. n Staff support children's good health highly effectively. They teach children to develop good personal care habits, including blowing their noses and regular handwashing. Children delight in fresh air daily. They whizz around on ride-on toys and practise new skills using resources, such as balls and hoops, in diverse ways. n Staff take a genuine interest in each and every child who attends the setting. For example, they talk to children about their drawings and skilfully link these to experiences in their family homes. Children show respect to their friends and
