p.2
Findings from the inspection
The manager has taken appropriate action to meet the requirements made at the previous full inspection. Staff set clear boundaries and ensure they are all consistent in maintaining them to help protect the child. The managers oversight and evaluation of adverse incidents is effective. Changes to practice are identified and actioned to help minimise the risk of a similar incident occurring in the future, and keep the child protected from harm.
p.2
Findings from the inspection
The child has positive and trusted relationships with a consistent staff team and said they feel safe living in the home and have staff they can share their worries and concerns with. Staff know the child well and they respond appropriately to help allay any fears the child expresses to them. This has had a positive impact with safeguarding incidents having significantly reduced since the last inspection.
p.2
Findings from the inspection
Staff know the importance of the child attending and doing well in their education. The manager continues to advocate for the child and challenges the local authority and virtual school to ensure that the child receives the right educational provision. Staff take every opportunity to engage with the child and carry out informal educational activity to enhance the child’s learning.
p.2
Findings from the inspection
Staff enjoy working at the home and praise the manager for the support and guidance they offer. The child was happy and smiling during the inspection and fun, and laughter were observed between staff and the child. Staff expressed it can be hard at times and challenging, however, they spoke with pride about the progress they have supported the child to achieve.
