Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS). If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 26 November 2024, we received concerns that this provider was not meeting requirements relating to suitable people, staff:child ratios, risk assessment, and changes that must be notified to Ofsted.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We suspended the provider's registration because we believed children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 6 January 2025, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued an action letter for the provider to take the action below within the timescale set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n demonstrate how any assistants will be deemed suitable by Ofsted and have passed any required checks to fulfil their role, before being included in ratios to work with children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider has a secure knowledge and understanding of how to assess risk within her setting. We established that she understands how and when to notify Ofsted of changes to those living or working at her setting, and to notify Ofsted of any significant events. We have now lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to deal with the matter that led to the suspension, and we are satisfied that there is now no risk of harm to children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 13 January 2025, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of recruitment and vetting procedures, the requirement to notify Ofsted of changes to adults in the home/working with children, and that any assistants must have been deemed suitable by Ofsted before they can be used in ratio with the children.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied therefore that the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2
