Summary of outcome

If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 December 2024, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 31 December 2024, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of significant events in relation to accidents and injuries to minded children, which is a requirement of their registration. We also found that there had been breaches of the requirements in relation to child:staff ratio, at the time of the incident. However, the provider had already taken steps to meet this requirement. In addition, we found that there were breaches in the provider's risk assessment arrangements. We have issued an action for the provider to take.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure you have a full understanding of how to conduct robust risk assessments to identify, remove or minimise any potential hazards, so that children in their care are not exposed to unnecessary risks On 9 January 2025, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had improved their risk assessments and were able to identify suitable measures to remove or minimise potential hazards, to ensure the safety of the children in their care, and now fully understands their responsibilities.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
