Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 23 October and the 26 November 2024, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to organising premises for confidentiality and safeguarding, accident or injury, safety of premises, risk assessment, staff:child ratios, food and drink, information and record keeping and complaints.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 24 October 2024, the provider notified us about matters relating to accident or injury, safety of premises and risk assessment. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant accidents to children.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 28 November 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider had carried out a risk assessment following an accident. They had reflected on the suitability of a particular resource and decided to remove this item as it was not safe for younger children who attend the setting. During the visit we found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage.
p.1
Summary of outcome
In relation to the new areas of concern, we issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
n ensure you keep a written record of accidents or injuries and first aid treatment, providers must inform parents and/or carers of any accident or injury sustained by the child on the same day as, or as soon as reasonably practicable after.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 3 December 2024, the provider responded to the action that was set. We found the provider had reviewed their systems for reporting accidents, they had also revisited these processes with the whole staff team. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
