p.1

This provision meets requirements

Children receive a warm and friendly welcome from staff, who collect them from their classrooms at the end of the school day. Staff have systems in place to ensure children walk safely to the club, which is situated within the school grounds. For example, they take a register and ensure all children are present, before organising a walking bus to take the children to the club. During this time, children's behaviour is impeccable, they listen to what staff have to say and follow instructions well.

They know the staff well and engage enthusiastically in conversations. Children play cooperatively and are extremely kind to their friends. For example, they help each other find toys and complete tasks together. Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour. They are excellent role models and gently remind children to say please and thank you. As a result, children learn to be respectful and have good manners.
