Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome
On 15 October 2024, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the childminder was meeting the staff:child ratio requirements. The childminder also had some risk assessments in place. However, we also found the childminder was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The childminder did not notify Ofsted of a significant event. This means that the childminder did not meet their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS) to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider to look after children. The childminder has now reviewed the EYFS, and through discussion demonstrates that she has a secure knowledge and understanding of changes that must be notified to Ofsted. The childminder has adapted her risk assessments for outings to ensure that children are always adequately supervised and that they are always in
