Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 9 August 2024, we received concerns that the childminder was not meeting requirements relating to safeguarding policies and procedures, suitable people, staff: child ratios, safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment and information and record keeping.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 27 September 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the childminder's safeguarding policy is in line with the local safeguarding partners and she understands how to implement this. She makes sure that children are safe and secure at her premises and adequately supervises children in her care. Additionally, she ensures the ongoing suitability of herself and household members. We also found the childminder has sufficient knowledge about government guidance on how to keep sleeping children safe.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On the regulatory visit, we found the childminder was not meeting some of the requirements. She had failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of any person who cares for/is in regular contact with children on the premises. The childminder will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The childminder is still registered with Ofsted.
