The childminder listens carefully to what children have to say and attentively responds in a caring way to their requests. This helps children to feel valued and acknowledged. Children are happy and confident in the childminder's care and invite the childminder to join in with their play. The childminder encourages children to develop their creativity skills by using a range of materials. Children demonstrate positive attitudes to learning as they use different coloured paints and they investigate the patterns they make as they squirt paint out of bottles. This supports children to demonstrate curiosity and experiment and explore with colours.
