Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at http://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 1 August 2024, the provider notified us that a child had been out of sight and hearing of staff for 8 minutes. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 19 August 2024, we carried out regulatory visit. We found that staff are deployed well, and ratios are well maintained, however we also found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
• ensure children are not exposed to risks, particularly in the outdoor area and staff are able to demonstrate how risks and hazards are managed
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 September 2024, we carried out regulatory visit. We found that the provider had taken action to improve risk assessment across the setting. A new risk assessment policy was completed and shared with staff. In addition, a thorough review of the outdoor area was completed and is now a safe and engaging area for children to access. Furthermore, leaders have trained all staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities within risk assessment. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
