Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 July 2024, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 August 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. On 8, 9 and 13 August 2024, we also carried out telephone calls. We found that the provider demonstrates sufficient understanding of the requirements for disqualifications; there are robust procedures for the recruitment of staff and there are safeguarding leaders in place. We also found that the provider ensures that staff receive safeguarding training to understand the safeguarding policy. Additionally, the provider's safeguarding policy includes the required information, such as about allegations and the use of mobile phones and electronic devices.
p.1
Summary of outcome
However, the provider failed to implement the safeguarding policy to report concerns about staff. Furthermore, the provider failed to ensure that risk assessments were effective in protecting children and did not determine where some written risk assessments may be helpful. This did not inform staff practice.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider also failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of any person who cares for or is in regular contact with children on the premises to look after children. We issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1

• take all reasonable steps to ensure that children are not exposed to risks and determine where it is helpful to make written risk assessments in relation to specific issues to inform staff practice.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We will monitor the provider's response to ensure the actions are successfully completed.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 30 August 2024, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider has reviewed and updated their safeguarding policy and ensures this is implemented, such as to report any concerns they may have about staff. We also found that the provider has taken effective action to ensure that risk assessments are written and inform staff practice. The information gathered suggests that the provider is now meeting the requirements of their registration. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
